Haber Global: Why did an Azerbaijani family become a target in Russia?
The Turkish TV channel Haber Global discussed recent attacks on Azerbaijanis in Russia, which caused widespread public outcry.
As reported by BAKU.WS, experts who participated in the discussion concluded that these actions are not accidental.
It is noted that the version claiming that the attack on the home of Russian citizens of Azerbaijani origin occurred due to crimes committed 20 years ago appears extremely unconvincing. It is suggested that the events in Yekaterinburg are connected to the deterioration of relations between Moscow and Baku following the incident with an AZAL aircraft, which was fired upon in Russian airspace at the end of last year.
Experts emphasized that in both cases, the Kremlin preferred to spread disinformation instead of acknowledging the real state of affairs, which caused justified discontent in Azerbaijan.
