In the published video, representatives of the observatory noted that this phenomenon in Atacama is being observed for the first time in ten years.
The Atacama Desert is located on the western coast of South America in Chile and occupies a narrow strip along the Pacific Ocean coast in Chile with a length of about 1000 kilometers.
