Dangerous bacteria found in onion rings imported from Russia

The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA) detected pathogenic bacteria in a batch of onion rings imported from Russia.
As reported by the FSAA, the contaminated product weighing 639 kg was produced by the enterprise "Miratorg-West" and imported into the country by the company "Mirtorg".
The dangerous microorganisms were discovered as a result of laboratory tests of product samples collected during routine monitoring of imported food products.
In accordance with the current legislation of Azerbaijan in the field of food safety, a decision was made to destroy the entire batch of contaminated products.
