"We are grateful to the President for today" - a forced settler from Aghdam

"We are grateful to our President Ilham Aliyev for this day".

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Report", these words were spoken today by Raya Rustamova, a former forced migrant who returned to the village of Kengerli in the Agdam district.

She expressed deep respect for the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the liberation of the lands:

"May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs, and health to our veterans. They returned these lands by shedding their blood. Our joy knows no bounds.

I am returning to my native village with my daughter. I want to leave this world in my village too. This is one of my greatest wishes. May Allah protect our President for our people. I wish the head of state and his family long life and good health".
