In Baku, these taxi drivers are excluded from the system

In Baku, taxi drivers who have not passed certification are excluded from the system.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xəzər TV, Bolt company, which offers taxi aggregator services, has blocked all drivers without certificates, and currently they cannot accept orders through the application.
According to the taxi drivers themselves, many of them have lost their jobs because of this.
Bolt company explained that the reason for the blocking was discrepancies in the training certificates of some drivers. However, even those who successfully passed certification are dissatisfied with the innovations. Taxi drivers expected tariff increases while working under the new rules, but this did not happen.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) noted that in connection with violations, they warn not the drivers, but the taxi operators.
"By law, they do not have the right to transfer orders to drivers without a transportation permit. Violators face fines under the Code of Administrative Offenses," the agency said.
