Azerbaijani boxer won gold in Portugal
Azerbaijani boxer Abbasgulu Shadlinsky (75 kg) won a gold medal at a prestigious international tournament in Portugal.
As reported to BAKU.WS by the Boxing Federation's press service, the national team representative became the winner of the international tournament held in the city of Braga.
In the semifinal match, Shadlinsky confidently defeated Portuguese athlete Francisco Silva, sending the tournament host out of the competition.
In the decisive final bout, the Azerbaijani boxer faced Bahrain's Hassan Jamshir and achieved a convincing victory, winning the tournament's gold medal.
