Bakery operations suspended in Baku

Multiple fire safety violations were identified during an inspection of a bakery in the Khatai district of Baku.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the facility does not have a fully installed fire alarm system, and no corresponding document was presented regarding the annual technical inspection of the existing automatic fire alarm system by a specialized licensed organization:
"The electrical system is not installed in accordance with the requirements of the 'Rules for the installation of electrical equipment', including connection points and ends of cables and wires that are not secured with special clamps or welding to prevent conductive resistance that could cause fire hazards, and no preventive inspection of the electrical system has been conducted.
The existing situation shows that continued operation of the facility may lead to a fire that will spread quickly and make tragedy inevitable. Considering the above, a decision was made to suspend the activities of the bakery located at: Khatai district, Mingachevir street, 20/3, where facts of gross violation of fire safety norms and rules were discovered, and one copy of the decision was handed to the facility representative."
