In Azerbaijan, 12-day holidays have begun

12-day holidays have begun in Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decree dated December 11, 2024, March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are holidays on the occasion of Novruz Bayram. Since March 22 and 23 fall on Saturday and Sunday, according to the Labor Code, March 25 and 26 will be non-working days.
To ensure consistency of working and non-working days, March 27 and 28, 2025, which are working days, have been replaced with days off - March 10 and April 1 respectively.
Since International Women's Day on March 8 fell on a Saturday, according to the Labor Code, March 10 should have been a non-working day. In addition, since March 30 - the Ramadan holiday - falls on a Sunday, April 1 should have been considered a non-working day.
Given that March 29 and 30 fall on Saturday and Sunday, this year due to the Novruz and Ramadan holidays, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 will be non-working days.
