President Ilham Aliyev received the president of UFC

On June 20, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), American entrepreneur Dana White.

As reported by BAKU.WS, expressing satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, Dana White emphasized the high level of preparation for the upcoming UFC tournament in Baku and expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided.

The head of state touched upon the importance of organizing the UFC tournament in our country for the first time, expressed hope that it would become regular, and noted the role of this event in terms of further promoting Azerbaijan in the world as a sports power.

During the conversation, the state's care for all types of sports in Azerbaijan was noted, the successes achieved by our athletes in recent years at important world-level competitions were emphasized, and work on promoting sports among the younger generation was discussed.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the high level of organization of prestigious international sports competitions held in our country so far, and confidence was expressed that the UFC tournament would also be held at the proper level.
