The Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences discovered an unknown object above the Sun resembling a bird, exceeding the Earth in size, as BAKU.WS reports, according to the Telegram channel of the Institute's Solar Astronomy Laboratory.

"A beautiful and partly mysterious image was received yesterday from one of the LASCO telescopes. The image seems to clearly show a 'bird' or 'aircraft' with a 'flame trail' stretching behind it," the message says.

It is noted that the width of the object is 150 thousand kilometers, which is more than ten times the size of Earth. The Solar Astronomy Laboratory added that the "bird" is located at a distance of about two million kilometers above the surface of the Sun.

Specialists emphasized that the obtained image seems very rare.
