Russian tourists are urged to cancel trips to Turkey at the height of the season due to the spread of a dangerous disease.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the well-known epidemiologist Gennady Onishchenko informed TASS about this.
According to the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, during the summer period, one should refrain from visiting Turkish resorts due to the spread of the Coxsackie virus:
"This is especially dangerous for children, as it causes inflammation of the meninges and disruption of the gastrointestinal tract, heart, and liver," the doctor emphasized.
