In Baku, a man who swallowed packages of drugs died in the hospital

A tragic incident occurred in Baku involving a person suspected of illegal drug trafficking, who made a desperate attempt to avoid criminal prosecution.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Qafqazinfo", Allahverdi Rasulov tried to hide evidence by swallowing drug packages he had on him.

The 31-year-old man was urgently taken to the hospital with deteriorating condition. Despite the medical assistance provided, the suspect with signs of poisoning died on June 20.

It should be noted that A. Rasulov had previously been repeatedly convicted under various articles of the Criminal Code and suffered from drug addiction.

An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
