A maniac who committed violence against underage boys has been detained in Baku

The trial of Khanlar Agayev, accused of raping underage boys in the capital, has concluded at the Baku Court for Serious Crimes.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, during the proceedings, the verdict was read out, according to which Kh.Agayev was sentenced to 19 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

According to the indictment, in the Govsan settlement, Khanlar Agayev (born 1969) deceived his 10 and 11-year-old neighbors and systematically raped them. After the rape, Khanlar threatened the children not to tell anyone about it, saying that he would disgrace them if the information spread.

In 2024, one of the boys who was sexually abused by Khanlar committed suicide. A criminal case was opened on this fact, and it was discovered that the minor committed suicide due to the experienced abuse. As a result of the operational measures taken, Kh.Agayev was detained.
