Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev arrived in Baku

Famous Russian MMA stars Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament, which will be held in Baku.

K. Nurmagomedov is a former UFC lightweight champion. The Russian fighter, who retired in 2021, won all 29 of his fights.

I. Makhachev is also a former UFC lightweight champion. The athlete, who continues his career, has defeated opponents in 27 out of 28 fights.

Note that at the tournament, which will take place on June 21, Azerbaijan will be represented by Tofik Musayev, Rafael Fiziev and Nazim Sadykhov.
