Fines of 50 manats introduced in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses. According to the new rules, the sale of medicines without instructions for use in Azerbaijani language will be subject to a fine.

According to Baku.ws, if the instructions for use of the medicine in Azerbaijani language are not inside or next to the package, and the pharmacy does not provide it in printed form at the consumer's request, this pharmacy will be subject to penalties.

In such cases, pharmacy organizations will be fined 50 manats.

The new rules are aimed at protecting consumer rights and ensuring proper use of medicines by citizens.
