Consequences of the downpour: 20 people evacuated, including three children

Due to the heavy rains that began yesterday, an operation is being conducted to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan, as a result of the operation, 20 people, including three children, have been evacuated from flooded areas where people were in a helpless state.

Currently, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service, Special Risk Rescue Service, Civil Defense Troops of the MES, and the Baku Regional Center continue continuous work to pump out and drain water from flooded areas of the capital, evacuate citizens in need of assistance, and implement other necessary safety measures.
