AYNA warns about possible bus service delays

The Land Transport Agency of Azerbaijan (AYNA) has warned about possible delays in the intervals between buses due to the bad weather observed in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
The agency reminded that the speed regime is chosen taking into account weather conditions.
"Since the speed regime of buses is regulated in accordance with the actual situation on the roads, an increase in intervals between buses may be observed. Passengers are asked to be understanding of temporary difficulties and to follow safety rules," - indicated the Agency.
They emphasized that despite the unstable weather, buses have been dispatched on all routes since the morning hours.
In connection with the unstable weather conditions observed in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, all carriers have been properly instructed, and the agency's Monitoring Center is controlling the movement of buses on the roads.
"Bus drivers, ensuring safe and uninterrupted service to citizens, have been informed about closed tunnels and areas where passage is impossible. Due to restrictions imposed on some roads in connection with weather conditions, the traffic pattern of some buses passing through these territories has been changed. More detailed information about this will be provided in the near future," - noted AYNA.
