Astronomical spring has arrived in Azerbaijan

Spring has arrived in Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, according to information provided by the Department of Astrophysics of the Physics Faculty of Baku State University (BSU), the arrival of spring in Azerbaijan occurred at 13:01:25.

On March 20, day equals night, the Sun moves along the ecliptic (the annual visible path of the Sun), crosses the equator and transitions from the southern hemisphere to the northern. From this moment, astronomical spring begins in the northern hemisphere, and autumn in the southern.

The duration of the spring season will be 92 days 17 hours 40 minutes 46 seconds.
