The presentation date for iPhone 17 is known

Apple's annual fall presentation, which will showcase the iPhone 17 lineup, may take place in early September 2025. The most likely dates for the event are considered to be September 8, 9, or 10. This forecast was shared by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman in a new issue of the Power On newsletter.

According to Gurman, the company traditionally schedules announcements for the week following Labor Day in the US. In 2025, this holiday falls on September 1, making the target week the period from September 8 to 12. Apple consistently avoids announcements on Fridays (which excludes September 12) and in recent years has not held events on September 11. Thus, the most likely days remain September 8, 9, and 10, with Tuesday (September 9) and Wednesday (September 10) considered priorities.

Gurman's forecast is confirmed by an analysis of Apple's presentation history. Of the last ten iPhone launch events, five took place on Tuesday and three on Wednesday. Monday was used for an announcement only once, in 2024, making this day a less likely candidate.

The upcoming event is expected to present the iPhone 17 lineup (including iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models), as well as new Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3.

The company typically sends out official press invitations about a week before the event.
