Vladimir Putin congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the Novruz holiday

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Ilham Heydarovich.

Please accept my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the spring holiday Novruz.

Russian-Azerbaijani relations are successfully developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to actively enhance mutually beneficial bilateral ties - for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interests of strengthening security and stability in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you, dear Ilham Heydarovich, good health and success on this bright holiday, and happiness and prosperity to all citizens of Azerbaijan".
