American actor of Canadian origin Jim Carrey has sold his mansion in the USA with a multi-million discount. The artist sold the property almost 10 million dollars cheaper than he had planned, writes Mansion Global.

According to the publication, finding a buyer wasn't immediate. The actor first tried to sell the house in 2023 - then he asked 29 million dollars for it, but the deal didn't go through. Now the new owner has paid 18.75 million dollars for the property.

The property in question is a ranch-style mansion located in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Carrey purchased it in 1994, when he starred in the cult comedies "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "The Mask," and "Dumb and Dumber."

Inside the house there are five bedrooms, an Art Deco theater, a veranda, and a terrace by the pool with a waterfall. The mansion is surrounded by a 2-acre plot, which features a covered patio by the pool, a garden, and a separate meditation area.
