On Tuesday, another court hearing is being held on the criminal case against Ruben Vardanyan, accused of violating the laws and customs of war, terrorism, financing terrorism, and other articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, a trial is taking place at the Baku Judicial Complex under the chairmanship of Judge Zeynal Agayev of the Baku Military Court.

Note that during the previous court hearing, Ayrapetyan Kamo Eduardovich and Grigoryan Musheg Gurgenovich testified as witnesses in the case. They spoke about Vardanyan's actions in Karabakh.

In addition, he is accused of committing acts under Articles 218 (organizing a criminal community (criminal organization), 228 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, component parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices), 270-1 (acts creating a threat to aviation security), 278 (violent seizure of power or violent retention of power, violent change of the constitutional order of the state), 279 (creation of armed formations or groups not provided for by legislation), 318 (illegal crossing of the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
