Mikail Jabbarov met with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The minister announced this on his page on the social network X.

The minister reported that during his visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the 15th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, he met with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

"We conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev to him. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, conveying his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev, expressed confidence that the relations of friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will continue to develop successfully."

During the meeting, it was emphasized that thanks to the political will and joint efforts of the leaders of the two countries, bilateral ties have risen to a qualitatively new level.

"We exchanged views on issues of diversifying economic cooperation, actively promoting mutual trade and investment initiatives, and strengthening business ties," M. Jabbarov wrote.
