Maria Zakharova commented on the accusations of the Armenian parliament speaker against Russia

It is regrettable to see the rhetoric that Simonyan has returned to. All the attacks and insults don't even align with the image of the parliament speaker.

This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responding to a NEWS.ru correspondent's question about yesterday's accusations by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, against Moscow regarding alleged hybrid warfare and financing of internal political processes in the republic.

"This is another round of some aggressive vocabulary that causes bewilderment. What kind of hybrid war against the leadership of Armenia can we talk about when, as we understand, Armenia will be represented here at the events?" she stated.

M. Zakharova also brought to attention that there are regular contacts between the two countries at the highest level and through the Foreign Ministry, as well as through economic operators.

"It seems to me they need to develop some common position on this matter," added the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
