Citizens of Azerbaijan will be able to visit one more country without a visa

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Colombian counterpart Omar Bula Escobar on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to a post by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X, the heads of the departments discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Colombia, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening political dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the discussions, opportunities for strengthening ties in the areas of tourism, education, and culture were considered. The parties also exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral platforms, including the UN, as well as on regional and international processes and issues of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, the "Agreement between Azerbaijan and Colombia on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Ordinary Passports" was signed, further strengthening the legal and institutional framework between the two countries.
