The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has once again called on citizens to refrain from traveling to and working in regions where hostilities continue or where the security situation remains unstable.

This was stated in a declaration by the MFA of Azerbaijan.

The foreign affairs agency noted with regret that, despite repeated warnings, Azerbaijani citizens continue to work in armed conflict zones and high-risk areas. As a result, people are killed or sustain injuries of varying severity.

The statement paid particular attention to the situation in the Black Sea basin, where military operations continue and threats to civilian shipping persist.

The MFA emphasized that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, and other types of weaponry makes the situation in the region extremely unstable.

"Given the geography and intensity of the hostilities, the risks for civilian vessels and their crew members have increased significantly. In this regard, we once again urge Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to areas where military operations continue or where the security situation remains unstable, from working in these territories, as well as from working on vehicles traveling along the corresponding routes (including maritime vessels)," the statement reads.

The agency also recommends strictly following official warnings and, if necessary, contacting Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions and consulates.
