In Azerbaijan, the National Action Plan for Combating Human Trafficking for 2026-2030 has been approved

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the approval of the "National Action Plan on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030."

"Guided by paragraphs 3 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the sustainability of measures in the field of combating trafficking in human beings, improve the regulatory framework and institutional mechanisms, enhance the effectiveness of interaction between state bodies, and ensure the fulfillment of the international obligations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in this area, I hereby order:

1. To approve the "National Action Plan on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030" (hereinafter referred to as the National Action Plan).

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve the issues arising from this order.

3. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:

3.1. coordinate the implementation of the measures provided for in the National Action Plan;

3.2. inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year on the status of implementation of the measures provided for in the National Action Plan.

4. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures provided for in the National Action Plan shall be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication on the basis of an order from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
