"Sabah" advanced to the second qualifying round of the Champions League

Azerbaijani club "Sabah" advanced to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, defeating Welsh side "The New Saints" once again.

The second leg at Park Hall Stadium ended with a 2:1 victory for Valdas Dambrauskas' team.

Joy-Lance Mickels opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Shortly before halftime, in the 43rd minute, Rahman Dashdamirov doubled the visitors' lead. The hosts managed only to pull one back in the 89th minute thanks to a goal by Joshua Lok.

On aggregate (2:0, 2:1), "Sabah" comfortably won the tie 4:1 and progressed to the second qualifying round, where they will face Finnish club "KuPS".
