Peter Pellegrini honored the memory of martyrs in Baku

President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs on July 15.

The head of state honored the memory of the heroic sons and daughters of Azerbaijan who gave their lives in the struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of the country, and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

The President of Slovakia then viewed the panorama of Baku and was provided with information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs, its special place in the memory of the Azerbaijani people, as well as the landscaping and construction work being carried out in the capital.
