SOCAR and Union Energy companies signed a memorandum of understanding

During a working visit to Israel, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Union Energy company on conducting joint exploration work in Israel's exclusive economic zone.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his social media page on X.

"The implementation of the document will contribute to expanding the network of international cooperation between the parties and access to new energy resources," the publication states.
