Azerbaijan's GDP grew slightly

The nominal GDP of Azerbaijan in January-February 2025 amounted to 19 billion 72.2 million manats, with real economic growth estimated at 0.2%.
This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
According to statistics, the decline in the oil and gas sector was 2.7%, while the non-oil and gas sector grew by 1.7%.
In January-February, 38.5% of GDP was produced in the industrial sector, 10.1% in trade and vehicle repair; 6.9% - transport and warehousing, 4.6% - construction, 2.9% - agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.5% - tourist accommodation and catering, 1.9% - information and communications, 22% - other areas. The share of taxes in GDP was 10.6%.
GDP per capita for the reporting period amounted to 1,865 thousand manats.
