Mikail Jabbarov met with the State Secretary of Spain for Trade

Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov held a meeting with the State Secretary for Trade of Spain, Amparo Lopez Senovia.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Economy.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the Azerbaijan-Spanish business forum held today for the further development of trade and economic relations, including partnerships between business circles. The significance that our country attaches to developing cooperation with Spain was highlighted, as well as the importance of meetings and discussions held in this regard.

The parties exchanged views on the importance of the 1st meeting of the Strategic Economic Dialogue between Azerbaijan and Spain for stimulating the activities of business entities.

During the meeting, a "Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Economic Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business of the Kingdom of Spain" was signed.

"The implementation of the document will contribute to the diversification of cooperation through the expansion of bilateral business ties, increased investments, technology and knowledge transfer, exchange of experience and joint initiatives," the statement says.
