SOCAR and BP discussed joint participation in projects in third countries
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and BP have explored opportunities for joint participation in various projects in third countries.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, the discussions took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and BP Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell.
During the meeting, the successful cooperation that has continued for many years between SOCAR and BP was noted with satisfaction, and the importance of jointly implemented projects was emphasized. In particular, the work being carried out on upstream (production) projects was discussed, including Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) and NAG (Non-Associated Gas), Shah Deniz Compression, Karabakh, Ashrafi-Dan Ulduzu-Aypara, and Shafag-Asiman.
During the conversation, views were exchanged on midstream (transportation) and renewable energy projects, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
