JOYFUL news for citizens receiving benefits and pensions

"Today is the deadline given by the President to the Cabinet of Ministers for preparing proposals on increasing benefits and pensions".

He noted that considering the signing of the Decree "On continuing measures to improve the social welfare of the population" by the President of Azerbaijan on December 23, 2024, and giving the Cabinet of Ministers a 3-month period, it can be assumed that the government has already completed the preparation of proposals for increasing social benefits and pensions:

"On the other hand, this year's social package will cover more than 3 million of our citizens, and for this purpose, it is planned to allocate an additional more than 1.5 billion manats. This means that the social package will not be limited to increasing salaries and pensions. It is expected that the document on increasing benefits and pensions will be signed after the official submission of proposals. Which benefits and pensions will be increased will become known after the signing of the relevant document.

In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, benefits and pensions will be increased in the near future. This will allow deepening the social package in 2025 and will enable more of our citizens to benefit from social protection measures".
