Messi set a new record

Argentine striker of American "Inter Miami" Lionel Messi scored his 875th goal in his career.
The forward scored in the MLS regular championship match against "Los Angeles Galaxy" (3:1).
The Argentine reached this result faster than anyone in history, doing it in 1116 matches. Messi also became the youngest player to score 875 goals against opponents.
The Argentine footballer has been playing for "Inter Miami" since the summer of 2023, when he transferred from French "PSG," where he had played for two seasons. During his two years at the American club, the forward has played 71 matches in all tournaments, scoring 59 goals and recording 29 assists.
Messi is a product of Barcelona's youth academy. He played for the main team from 2003 to 2021. During this period, he played 835 matches, in which he scored 709 goals. Messi won the Champions League four times with Barcelona, won the World Cup with the Argentina national team in 2022, twice won the Copa America, and the Argentine has won the "Golden Ball" eight times.
