Actor Terence Stamp, who starred in "Star Wars," has died

British actor Terence Stamp, known for his roles in "Superman" and "Star Wars," died on the morning of August 17 at the age of 87. This was reported by Reuters.

In the late 1960s, Stamp worked with Italian directors Federico Fellini and Pier Paolo Pasolini. He gained widespread recognition for playing the villain General Zod in the films "Superman" (1978) and "Superman 2" (1980). Additionally, Stamp is known for his roles in films such as "The Collector," "Wanted," and "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace," where he played Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum of the Galactic Republic.
