At least eight people died as a result of flooding in China, four more are listed as missing, reports Xinhua news agency.
"At least eight people died as a result of sudden flooding in northern China," the report states.
It is specified that the flooding occurred around 22:00 (18:00 Baku time) on August 16 in the northern region of Inner Mongolia. The people caught in the natural disaster were on a hike, at the moment only one person is known to have been evacuated from the scene of the tragedy. The search for four more missing people continues.
