A deputy called for support of small and medium-sized farmers

Farmers should spend more time in agricultural fields, not in office reception rooms.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this statement was made by MP Vugar Iskenderov during the discussion of the draft law "On Product Conformity Certificate" at today's session of the Milli Majlis Committee on Agrarian Policy.

He noted that when carrying out procedures, the document workflow should be not only transparent but also as simple as possible in order to eliminate bureaucratic barriers.

"In addition, first and foremost, it is necessary to provide support to small and medium-sized farmers so that large farmers do not overshadow them," the parliamentarian added.
