Heavy rains and hail are expected in the regions of Azerbaijan

From September 18-20, variable cloudiness is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, predominantly without precipitation, with moderate northwesterly winds.

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, the air temperature in the capital and on the Absheron Peninsula will be 28-30 degrees above zero.

Today and tomorrow, brief rains are expected in some mountainous areas.

No precipitation is expected in most districts on September 19 and 20. However, in some mountainous and foothill districts, especially in Balakan, Sheki, Gazakh, Ganja, Karabakh, and Eastern Zangezur, rains are possible, with heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in some places.

The air temperature in lowland districts will be 30-35, and in mountainous districts - 15-20 degrees above zero.

Due to the precipitation, a rise in water levels in some rivers cannot be ruled out.
