The first bell rang in schools of Azerbaijan - PHOTO REPORT

Today, Knowledge Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan.

The BAKU.WS team visited the Ankara məktəbi school-lyceum, located in the Narimanov district of Baku.

School principal Arzu Suleymanova told BAKU.WS that 205 students were enrolled in the first grade this year. The head of the educational institution particularly emphasized that the previous academic year was very successful for them.

"We had 121 graduates. 96 percent of our graduates were admitted to higher education institutions," she noted.

In the current academic year, 201 students were admitted to the first grade. 121 graduates completed the "Ankara məktəbi" school-lyceum. 96 percent of the graduates were enrolled in universities.

It is worth noting that the school building was recently renovated. In the educational process, special attention is given to the study of the English language.
