President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the proposal from Western partners to mobilize 18-year-old citizens for participation in combat operations in exchange for increased sanctions pressure on Russia.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to insider.ua, this was announced by Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to him, the initiative came from Ukraine's Western allies.
