Zelensky rejected Putin's proposal
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the three-day ceasefire proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin for May 9 and insists on a 30-day ceasefire.
This is reported by "Ukrinform".
During a conversation with journalists, the president stated that he "does not want to play with the short ceasefires proposed by Putin." According to him, the 30-day ceasefire model is the most optimal, as it is impossible to agree on anything in just a few days.
"I agree with Trump that a 30-day ceasefire with Russia is the right first step," the president said.
He also noted that if a decision is made to implement a month-long ceasefire, the monitoring issue needs to be resolved quickly.
