Zelensky made a statement about Putin's real intentions regarding the ceasefire

Putin is not interested in a ceasefire and aims to continue the war.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his Telegram channel.
"Yesterday we heard Putin's statements - he puts forward conditions that clearly show: he doesn't need a ceasefire. He wants to continue the war, and this is obvious," Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, Putin distorts the real situation at the front, conceals losses and the true state of the Russian economy, which has suffered due to his "imperial ambitions." Zelensky noted that the Russian leader is doing everything possible to ensure that diplomatic efforts fail.
"Putin cannot simply exit this war, because in that case he will be left with nothing," said the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky also noted that this is precisely why Putin is sabotaging diplomatic processes, putting forward complex and unacceptable conditions even before discussing a ceasefire.
"He is trying to drag everyone into endless discussions, as was the case with the Minsk agreements, wasting weeks and months on useless negotiations while his troops continue to kill people. Any of his demands is a way to block diplomatic efforts. Russia acts exactly like this, and we have warned about this many times," Zelensky concluded.
