Will the geomagnetic storm on Earth end on Thursday?
World 358

Mid-week was turbulent: a powerful solar wind stream hit Earth's geomagnetic field, with speeds exceeding 600 kilometers per second in some areas. The disturbances were caused by coronal holes formed in the central region of the solar disk. The plasma emanating from them was directed straight toward our planet.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Pogoda.mail.ru, the situation began to stabilize by the end of the week, however, weather-sensitive people may still experience malaise and fatigue. Let's discuss whether we should expect new magnetic storms on October 30, 2025.

Will there be magnetic storms on October 30, 2025, and how strong will they be

On Thursday, October 30, the probability of G1 class magnetic storms is estimated at 50%. Another 30% forecast is given for weak geomagnetic disturbances, and in 20% of cases, Earth, according to calculations, may cope with external influences without consequences.
In the first half of the day, the Kp geomagnetic activity index will be in the range of 4-5 units, then will decrease to three points, but will still remain at an elevated level. The Ap value will reach 15 (for comparison: on October 29 it was 18). The solar wind speed will remain at 550-570 kilometers per second, and plasma density will decrease to 2.7 units.

What weather-dependent people should do

During geomagnetic storms, people often complain of headaches, fatigue, and decreased performance - these are signs of weather sensitivity. It's difficult to completely get rid of it, but you can mitigate the symptoms.

Psychiatrist Eduard Kholodov explained how to better behave during such periods:

"It's important to restore the body's circadian rhythms. Even on weekends, you should go to bed and wake up at the same time."

The expert also advised starting the day with a so-called "light shower" - spending 15-20 minutes outdoors immediately after waking up. In addition, according to him, it's useful to reduce the use of gadgets two hours before bedtime, as the blue spectrum radiation from screens causes eye fatigue.
