The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to withdraw from OPEC and OPEC+ effective May 1, 2026.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Emirati state agency WAM.
According to the agency, the UAE's decision to withdraw from OPEC and OPEC+ "is in line with the country's long-term strategic and economic strategy."
