Two American soldiers killed in Jordan in Iranian attack
Two American service members killed in Jordan during an Iranian strike.
This was reported by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social media platform X.
"Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen service members, until 24 hours after their next of kin have been notified," the statement said.
The U.S. Central Command also reported one person missing and four injured who were hospitalized and have since been discharged.
The military personnel in question were killed on July 17, CENTCOM clarified.
