Turkey has suspended transit of vessels through the Bosphorus due to fog.

As reported by RIA Novosti, this was announced by the country's General Directorate of Coastal Safety.

It is noted that approximately 95 ships are waiting in line to pass through the strait.

"Due to heavy fog, transit of vessels through the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions," the statement said.
