Turkey denied rumors of support for strikes against Iran
Turkey does not provide land, sea, or air resources for conducting operations in favor of any party in conflicts or wars.
This information was disseminated by the Center for Combating Disinformation under the Communications Directorate of the Presidential Administration of Turkey.
The statement notes that claims circulating on social media about Turkey's support for the recent strikes on Iran are absolutely unfounded and aimed at misleading the public.
"Turkey does not provide for operational purposes any land or sea capabilities, including airspace, in favor of any party in any conflict or war. This principle is fundamental to our foreign policy and security," the department emphasized.
It was also noted that Turkey's sovereign rights over its airspace, land, and maritime territory are full and indisputable, and any activity on the country's territory is carried out exclusively within the framework of national security under the control of authorized bodies.
Citizens were urged to rely only on official statements from state bodies and not to trust unfounded rumors.
