Trump talked about his feelings after conversations with Putin

After telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump felt that establishing a ceasefire in Ukraine was close. The politician shared his feelings with journalists during a press conference, which was broadcast on the White House YouTube channel.

"These were good conversations, it seemed, probably three times, that we were close to a ceasefire and possibly establishing peace. And it seems like you should do everything necessary, but then the conflict continued further," he said.

Trump indicated that he does not like that military actions in Ukraine continue, therefore he is disappointed in Russia.
