The United States has taken a 90-day pause on introducing large-scale tariffs against trading partners. During this period, a 10% tariff will be in effect.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social network.
"I have authorized a 90-day pause and a substantially reduced reciprocal tariff of 10% for this period, which also takes effect immediately," the politician wrote.
This is due to the fact that more than 75 countries have asked the United States to discuss decisions on trade barriers and tariffs, and they "have not taken any retaliatory measures," Trump explained.
He also emphasized that Beijing acted differently and imposed retaliatory tariffs, and therefore the tariff for China is being increased to 125%.
